Toerifc February: Don't Miss It!

Toerifc will be returning in February after a two month break with the Joseph Campanella hosted White Dog, Samuel Fuller's 1982 drama. Due to technical difficulties Toerifc won't have a discussion this month but I think we can all agree that Ikiru is a great film with or without Toerifc's input and we can all discuss it freely in our heads or with unsuspecting bystanders if we so desire.

Also, Cinema Styles sister blog, Unexplained Cinema, moves into its second week of updating. Please stop by if you have a chance, thanks.

I bought WHITE DOG shortly before it was announced as a pick, and I've been just sitting there, waiting to watch it, all this time.

I'm excited to watch White Dog...great choice as it's one of the few Fuller films I've yet to see. Anyone here seen Shock Corridor? I just watched that the other night. Damn that's a crazy movie.

Also I like your pic at the top of the blog, Greg. Is that from a King Vidor film? I can't remember the name...The Crowd or something like that...

Bill, I watched it last year but will watch it again anyway this month for the discussion.

Kevin, the banner is from The Really Really Really Crowded Office of the Amazing Fantastoriffic Chernubulous Doctor Finzisnuddle, later shortened to The Crowd.

I like your title better. Maybe Terry Gilliam will do a remake.

Joseph, can't wait. I've already seen it three or four times (it was on Showtime quite a bit waaaay back in the eighties) but I'm anxious to watch it again and discuss it. In about two weeks I'll have sidebar banners and announcements ready to go.
