Name That Movie, Second Round, Clip 8

No, that's not the Orca and the captain's not Quint. But that is one huge-ass shark! Now... Name That Movie!

*****UPDATE*****

Bill has won again. Go to the comment section for the answer. And if you go here you will see that Bill R has become the first ever FOUR-PEATER with Name That Movie! Yes, Flickhead and Arbo both three-peated but Bill is the only one to four-peat. Congratulations Bill. Bonus Round up at noon.

I haven't seen the clip yet, but I'm guessing "The Old Man and the Sea" just preemptively.

Tiger Shark?

Greg F. said...

Sorry, Marilyn that's not it. But I like the idea of preemptive guessing. From this point forward it shall be known as The Ferdinand Doctrine.

Greg F. said...

Actually, Fox, I don't know what type of shark that is but it seems like ... Oh, you were guessing the title! In that case, no.

Prisoner of Shark Island?

16 Fathoms Deep??

The Shark God?

Greg F. said...

No, neither of those Flickhead. Try again.

Greg F. said...

Marilyn, I am the Shark God, the clip is not.

CLUE 1 - Although many shots take place in or on the water, it's not an adventure movie. The captain wants sharks "big enough to swallow a man" for other reasons.

Marilyn said...

Dr. No! No, no.

I'll just wait for clue #2, I guess.

Greg F. said...

Well here you go then Bill.

CLUE #2 - He wants the sharks big for illegal purposes. Hmmm... what illegal activity could a big fish hollowed out to form a large cavity help out with?

Fox said...

I'm still waiting for Greg to put in a clip from Major League one day. Now THAT ONE I would get!

Jamaica Inn?

Greg F. said...

Well I was going to do Major League for the Bonus Round but not now.

Marilyn, it's not Jamaica Inn either. Sorry.

Greg F. said...

CLUE #3 - Based on a book of the same title by a reporter who broke the operation open.

The most disturbing porno ever?

Greg F. said...

Flickhead, you got the first word right. That's something I guess.

Greg F. said...

Krauthammer, yes, that's ... oh no, wait. That is disturbing!

There is a bongage scene in the movie though, ironically enough. The heroine is strapped to a torture device in jest so her boyfriend can kiss her.

This sounds like a film I'd never see, and I'm not Googling anymore. Pass.

bill r. said...

Greg, we're all in agreement. This one is hard.

I Cover the Waterfront

I Sailed to Tahiti with an All-Girl Crew?

Greg F. said...

Marilyn, it's 1933 bondage so while our heroine is being forcibly strapped in she's all smiles, as only they could be in the movies in 1933. And then her boyfriend steals kisses. It's pretty cringe inducing when watched today.

Greg F. said...

Flickhead, I wish that were it!

Greg F. said...

Bill, um... oh crap, I can't remember what I was going to write.

Hold on, I'll think of it. Um... let's see... Oh Yeah!

You Won!
