Larry and Merle got together in The Divorce of Lady X in 1938. Is it just me or does Olivier look like he's sixteen years old in this picture? Maybe it's the hairstyle but he looks so young here, much younger than he would look less than a year later when he and Oberon did some other movie together about a farmboy and a girl or something. He played Sylvester or Fritz or Garfield. Something like that. I know it was a cat's name. Felix? No. Anyway, I can't remember. I think it flopped.

I got it! Morris! Wait, no, that's not it either. Dammit, what his character's name?
You're way off. It was Marmaduke.
Someone's gotta say it . . .
Larry is just dreamy! Easily one of the best looking guys who's ever appeared in movies.
Thanks for the eye candy!
Bill - Marmaduke, of course! And her name was Lassie, right?
Kimberly - Yep, Larry Aydlette is a dreamboat I must admit. Wait a minute, you're talking about Olivier aren't you?
Anyway, no need to thank me. It's a part of the stated mission of Cinema Styles to provide eye candy for Kimberly. My pleasure.
Olivier plays a guy named Everard? Seems like the set-up for a joke. I did look it up at IMDb.
Anyways, Kimberly could never get too much candy, eye or any other kind, says I. Still waiting for her to post again on her own site on a more regular basis.
Everard. Like Eliza Doolittle describing an amorous lover: "Ooh, 'at one, ee's ever 'ard ee is."
